Cary has been an instructor at Second City Toronto for many years. Teaching groups of all ages and backgrounds, his knowledge of all the major improvisation techniques taught in North America allow him to select the best from each and incorporate it into workshops and performances.

With over 20 years experience as an instructor in corporate training, Cary has worked with some of Canada’s largest organizations such as Ernst & Young and the Government of Ontario. He helped found, Bizprov, a company that specializes in using improvisation techniques for business. He works with the corporate division of Bad Dog Theatre, Big Time Murder Productions, Second City Toronto, Mysteriously Yours and Canadian Entertainers.

A graduate of the training program at Second City, Cary has a B.A. in Communications and Drama from the University of Windsor and a diploma in Theatre Arts from the Players Academy (Equity Showcase). Over the years, he has continued to study theatre, voice techniques and directing. He was nominated for a Canadian Comedy Award in 2001 for Best New Sketch Troupe (The Closet Primadonnas). He has studied and performed with some of the top improvisers in North America.
