Standard Workshop Specifications

(Up to 25 individuals)
All workshops are improvisation-based with a focus on team-building and participation. The result is a training event that is interactive, innovative, and fun, helping the organization achieve a more cohesive unit and increasing their potential for success. All workshops include the following: team-building, clarity of message, creative thinking, problem solving, effective communication, taking initiative and leadership within the workplace, and building upon others’ ideas in a more positive work environment or can focus completely on your area of concern.

Participants are involved in activities proven to be enjoyable and non-threatening. Everyone is encouraged to work at their own comfort level.

The length of a standard workshop can vary from 1.5 to 3 hours or can be adjusted to fit your time available/budget. It can include a break for the participants (if needed), and can be tailored to conferences as well as stand-alone seminars.

Show Presentation Specifications

(25 – 100 or more individuals)

The standard workshop is ideally meant for groups of 10 to 25 individuals but larger groups can be accommodated by changing the workshop style and adding more instructors.This show presentation format uses small groups of participants to demonstrate improvisational-based exercises for the remainder of the organization/audience. Each separate exercise allows a new group of approximately 8 to 12 individuals to illustrate the theory and practical lessons to be learned.

Everyone is encouraged to work at their own comfort level, and those who wish to simply observe can do so as an audience member.

The show-in-progress structure is an energetic, positive environment that encourages team building, communication, creative thinking and problem solving through experiencing hands-on learning techniques.

Workshop/Show Accompaniment

(any size group)

A show can also be added at the end of any workshop or presentation as a fun finish to your team-building day. It incorporates many of the people and events from the workshops into a format which is both entertaining and serves as a guidepost highlighting the lessons learned.Team-building concepts, risk-taking, and creativity which are essential for an entertaining improv performance, are showcased by professional improvisers. Shows are generally one-act in length, running about 45 minutes to an hour.

A musical keyboardist accompanies 3 or 4 improvisors to create this show. Using information provided before the show, the performance team personalizes the event and incorporates your company’s ideas and people into the show.

DIY Style Improv Show

Why not put your new skills to the test with this fun, high-energy, interactive Do-it-Yourself show? Cary hosts and directs a mini-show of improv games starring members of your team. Participants share in a variety of performance-based scenic games adding a touch of entertainment to your team-building experience. Cary creates a high level of quality, ensuring the perfect way to cap off your custom workshop experience.</p>
